We stayed free for 2 nights in our caravan, which we parked on the grass area behind the hotel. The only cost? A delicious meal in the hotel, with fresh from the garden veggies and everything cooked to perfection. The staff are also really lovely. Absolutely recommend even if just driving through.
This hotel is a real gem: honest, clean, quiet, with comfy bed & hot shower. TV in your room and continental breakfast as well. Food menu great, with Sunday night pizza night deliciously satisfying.
Will happily stay again & highly recommended.

Made a last minute booking and how lucky was l. From check in to my departure the staff have been very polite and helpful. The cost of my room was excellent, the room is not 5 star but clean, tidy and for a solo traveller has everything l require. The menu options are amazing, not only do they cater for most tastes but you have the option of a half serve or a full one. I have been on the road for nearly 4 weeks and the grilled fish, chips and salad is in the top 3 l have had so far. For value, hospitality, and friendly atmosphere l would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Coonalpyn Hotel

Takeaway bottle of wine. Old fashioned salad bar. Kids eat free Monday and Tuesday included real calamari rings and a sunday ice-cream! The adult meal was lovely and everything was well priced also. Great service, friendly staff.
Good food and conversation in a proper country location . We had the schnitzel on the Wednesday night and it was perfect .
